When it comes to training, CFR Engines goes above and beyond to ensure that each student gets the most out of each class. Our philosophy is, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” - Benjamin Franklin.

We truly believe this is the best way adults learn. Death by PowerPoint is not effective in our field. Yes, we still need to teach theory but after doing so we must put those theories into practice.

For this reason, the training department of CFR has a fully operational Cetane and Octane engine that students can run. In addition to the fully operational engines, we have a Cetane cylinder and crankcase that students can tear down and rebuild, to learn from it. From end play and flywheel runout to taking apart carburetors and reassembling them correctly, we make sure students feel comfortable executing their job here so they can perform the task at their location.
